Is 16.8 V the same as 18 V?
The cells are the same; 16.8 V is the nominal figure for a five-cell pack and 18 V is the marketing figure some brands print. If you need one battery across your range, buy the 21 V drill instead — this platform is its own.
Which case should I order?
The large case fits the tool, two batteries, the charger and an accessory set, which is the version that sells in retail. The small case is cheaper and works where the buyer already has storage. Both are the same 37 × 29 × 11 cm footprint, so the carton count does not change.
