Market notes. The drill is the product most importers open a power-tool range with, so it is also the one where the price of the two-battery kit decides the order. In the Middle East the 21 V platform is the safer base for a range because the same battery is shared with wrenches, grinders and rotary hammers; a 16.8 V drill is a lower-cost entry model that will not share a battery with anything else in the catalogue.

What does the three-speed gearbox change?
It gives you three torque and speed bands from one tool: high speed for small holes and screw driving, low speed with more torque for larger bits and masonry. In practice it is what makes a 10 mm chuck drill usable across both jobs.
Why is this 50 N·m when your other 21 V drill is 65 N·m?
Because the numbers come from two different vendor sheets, not from a test bench. The brushless model is also the one with nine battery and case combinations, so it carries a higher unit price; if the torque figure is what your customer reads first, quote both and let the sheet decide.
